- The Kiwanis Club of Lethbridge was organized on May 7, 1929, and chartered on September 4, 1929. In 1952 the club accepted the organization and financing of the annual Lethbridge Music Festival. The Trust Deed was made on December 11, 1973 between the Kiwanis Club of Lethbridge and Thomas F. Cuthbert, Sheldon Woolf, Keith V. Robinson, Robert H. Robinson, and Steven R. Wilde. Since 1953 the Kiwanis Music Festival has operated annually with only two interruptions in 1967 and 1977 due to extreme weather conditions.
