- History Biographical
- Lethbridge Green Acres Kiwanis Club is part of the Kiwanis Club organization that began in Lethbridge in 1929. The founding charter members included Jack Delf, Dr. J.K. Bigelow, Dr. C.M. Fletcher, David Elton and Fred Robins. During WWII the members were active promoting victory bonds. In 1953 the Kiwanis took over the Lethbridge Music Festival and it continued for many decades. The club sponsored various parks and playgrounds, 4-H banquets, the Regional Hospital and the children's section of the Public Library.
