History Biographical

Walter Charles Jordan came to Nova Scotia from England in 1912 at the age of seven. Moved to Alberta in 1917 and worked for Canadian Pacific Railway. Worked on a farm near Piikani reserve and later found work with Calgary Power as a line electrician. He married Myrtle Murton of Milk River and worked for Sweet Grass refinery in the early 1930s. He later moved from Coutts to Lethbridge 443 – 19th St North. In the 1940s he worked as an electrician for POW Camp 133.
