- Members of the White Cane Bowling League of Lethbridge took on their benefactors, the Norbridge Lions Club in an evening of fun at the Downtown Bowladrome. The Lions were blindfolded to even the competition and words had it the blind bowlers emerged with a narrow win in aggregate scoring. Shown set to bowl are, left, John Edwards, first Vice President of the Norbridge club and right, Leonard Chambers who ran the CNIB booth at St. Michael’s Hospital. His average was about 70 but he had bowled as high as 86.
