- History Biographical
- Donated when the Lethbridge Herald Reference Library closed. Joe Balla started with the Lethbridge Herald In 1955 and moved through the ranks to become managing editor in 1968. He was elected to City of Lethbridge Council on the 18 October 1967 and served four years. In 1973 he was inducted into the Kainai Chieftainship. Balla was killed in a car accident 29 October 1981.
