- When it’s snowing, there is nothing in the city hungrier than two snow blowers at Kenyon Field. Snowfalls of over an inch required that the two runways and three taxi strips be cleared for possible emergency landings by jet air aircraft. After the blowers chewed the snow off the runways and threw it aside, a sweeper finished the job, exposing the bare asphalt.
