- History Biographical
- For several years (from about 1972-77) I took an ecology class from the University of Calgary to the One Four substation of Agriculture Canada on a two day field trip. Several stops were made along the way (at the Sand Hills around Pakowki Lake, Pend D'oreille Coulee and elsewhere). The idea was to allow the students a first hand look at the mixed prairie. These photos were taken by a student during one of these forays and were sent to me". Alex Johnston, 24 July 1987.
