- Several Lethbridge Correctional Institution inmates spent several weeks repairing toys gathered from donations by Lethbridge residents. Guard Archie Muirhead and Ward Ingoldsby, correctional officers in charge of the annual repair program. When all of the toys, dolls, games, tricycles, scooters and the one swing set were prepared, they were taken to the Salvation Army for distribution when hampers were given to disadvantaged families.
