- The ENMAX (formerly Sportsplex) Centre is a multipurpose facility operated by the City of Lethbridge. The complex was built in 1975 in preparation for the Canada Games.

- The Lethbridge Sugar Kings were a founding Junior A hockey team in the Alberta Junior Hockey League, based in Lethbridge, AB. They were one of the five teams that began the AJHL in 1963-64. They played in the AJHL until 1973. In the 1970-71 season, the Sugar Kings lost the Alberta Finals to the Red Deer Rustlers. During the same year, the Sugar Kings home arena burned down in Lethbridge.
