- The ENMAX (formerly Sportsplex) Centre is a multipurpose facility operated by the City of Lethbridge. The complex was built in 1975 in preparation for the Canada Games.

- Earl Ingarfield, Sr. is a retired professional hockey player. Born in Lethbridge, AB., he played for the Lethbridge Native Sons for four seasons between 1952-1955. He played in the NHL for thirteen seasons, playing for the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and retiring with the Oakland Seals in 1971. He also coached the New York Islanders for thirty games in their inaugural season in 1972-73.
