History Biographical
The ENMAX (formerly Sportsplex) Centre is a multipurpose facility operated by the City of Lethbridge. The complex was built in 1975 in preparation for the Canada Games.
Scope and Content
Bob Kirkpatrick was born in 1911 in Regina, SK. He was a professional hockey player who played for the New York Rangers in the NHL in 1942-43. He later enlisted in the Army and fought in WWII, after he returned to Lethbridge. He played for the Lethbridge Maple Leafs in 1938-1940. The photographic print shows Kirkpatrick in his New York Rangers uniform, and is signed to Ken Ringland.
