- Exterior view of demolition of a two-story building at the south end of the Alberta Government Telephone building underway to make room for a 150 by 75 foot two story expansion to downtown facilities. The structure, built in 1910, was used initially by a printing firm. The Lethbridge Morning News operated from the building for a time as did a weekly newspaper, The Lethbridge Telegram which was still on the north wall at the time of the demolition. Later tenants included the St. Mary River Irrigation District, Lethbridge Northern Irrigation District and the department of highways with Lethbridge Collieries, which moved to the site in 1950.
