- The University of Lethbridge library comprised three floors utilizing the Library of Congress system of cataloguing. Level 4 was a straight research area with individual carrels for study along each wall. The dollies at the end of the shelves were used to move part of the 3,000 boxes of books to the proper location in the right sequence to eliminate as much confusion as possible. With 100,000 volumes of books and 70,000 volumes on microfilm material, the library was the largest research information centre in southern Alberta.
