- “The Great Buffalo Saga” Made by the National Film Board of Canada and Parks Canada. Film looks at the work done to preserve the buffalo and move them out of the endangered species list. It goes into the history of the buffalo from the time the settlers came and how one First Nations man moved the remaining buffalo on the prairies to Montana. The work done by the government to move the buffalo back to Canada and help them prosper again. The film also talks about the struggles with diseases and hunters of buffalo as well as the differences between wood buffalo and plain buffalo. Interviews for the film included: Bud Cotton, Doug Allard, and Alice French
