- Lethbridge School District No. 51 is the public school board in Lethbridge. - In 1906 the Westminister school opened. This school was built because the North Ward school was becoming over crowded. In 1909 the addition to the school was done as the school needed the space. In 1927 a second addition to the school was created making it the largest unit in the system. In 1968, the students were transfered out of westminister into a vacated junior high school and was renamed Westministed School also known as the new Westminister School. Within a short period of time the original school was demolished as it was sold to the city and it made way for a shopping mall. Photograph is laminated.
