History Biographical
Frederick George Holberton was born in Lethbridge May 21, 1920. He attended Tuxis Boys’ Parliament in 1939 as a delegate from the Meteor Tuxis Square of First United Church, Lethbridge. His association with the Tuxis Parliament continued when in 1962 he became the first chairman of the alumni Society, a position he held for 7 years. In later years he served as lieutenant-governor. A graduate of Lethbridge schools, Fred became an Assessor with the National Revenue (Taxation) after service in World War II as a Lieutenant with the Canadian Army.
