- Stanley Zwierzynsky of Vancouver drove his late model vehicle off Highwaty 3 and went out of control and struck a power pole. He was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital and treated for a broken pelvis. The car was amost torn in half by the impact. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
