- The City of Lethbridge’s new $37,000 “giraffe crane” used by the parks and recreation department in trimming trees and other high level work and by the electrical department for high wiring, changing street lamps and similar jobs. The elbow crane lifted two men up to 55 feet with controls in their two-man bucket. One of the first jobs for the new machine was to trim trees in Henderson Lake Park.
