- Scope and Content
- A tunnel built to connect one sanitary sewer to another. It was cut through Berry’s Hill in the coulees west of 10th Avenue South and Scenic Drive. Some 530 feet long and about 95 feet underground, it eliminated a sanitary sewer outfall near the top of the coulee which resulted in considerable erosion over the years. When the tunnel and the pipeline that went inside of it were finished, the runoff water was carried to the river bottom through the pipeline.
