The shipment consisted of 34 carcasses, weighing a total of 23,000 pounds and was the follow up to a 22,000 pound shipment made by Canada Packers Ltd. of Calgary two months previous. The choice red brand of beef was trucked from Lethbridge to Vancouver, and then shipped to Kobe, Japan where it was displayed at the Canadian government food shows in Tokyo and Osaka.
