- Relics of the Past, an oil painting by Nora Bracken, was one of about 70 works by members of the Lethbridge Sketch Club in its month-long exhibition at the Bowman Arts Centre. The show, comprising paintings by amateur artists, included works in watercolors, acrylics, pastels and oil on velvet. Most of the paintings were for sale. The sketch club was a member organization of the Allied Arts Council and offered weekly art classes in its one-room headquarters in the centre.
