- A Pacific Western Boeing 737 air bus from Edmonton that was forced to land in Lethbridge for refueling when it was unable to land in Calgary. The Calgary International Airport reported a ceiling of only 100 feet due to strange weather changes and regulations called for a 300 foot ceiling and three quarter mile visibility before landings could be made. The 115 passenger jet left Lethbridge after about 90 minutes when the Calgary field was cleared for landing.
