- Hugh O’Neill, right, chairman of the Oldman River Regional Planning Commission, presents a $4,800 cheque to F. W. Sickoff, mayor of Bellevue. Mr. Sickoff was a member of the Crowsnest Pass Local Government Study Committee that was investigating possible new governmental set-ups for the Crowsnest Pass. The funds, made available through the planning commission by the provincial government, were to cover the committee’s expenses for 1971.
