- An early morning fire two miles east of the city limits on the Walter Fry farm destroyed 29 registered dogs kept at a kennel. The dogs, valued at $2,000, were not insured. Some of the stock was imported. The breeds destroyed were Keshound, Beagle, Pekingese and Cocker Spaniel. The kennel was operated by Mr. Fry’s daughter. Cause of the fire was udner investigation.
