- The Miners' Library, a social club in north Lethbridge, sponsored sports teams and community activities for more than 100 years until it closed in 2003. A bar area in the club's basement provided a space for private functions and various club activities. The upstairs Black Nugget lounge offered meals, drinks, live music, darts, pool, crib and vlts.
