The Taber Gas Tractor, invented by Mr Russell of Minneapolis. The inventor was a friend of Taber businessman Charles B. Hall and came to Taber to put his idea of a tractor with an increased power ratio before the Board of Trade. The result was a company capitalized at $63.00 per share. Mr. Russell built an experimental tractor in Minneapolis and shipped it to Taber. A power test was done using eight wagons loaded with 1,000 bushels of wheat.
