- The two policemen were killed by train robber Tom Bassoff outside cafe in Bellevue. For more information about the incident see Carpenter, James The Badge And The Blotter Page 51-52. The donor acquired the photographs from Violet Lawrence of Edmonton, 18 May 1973. Her husband collected them and may have given others to the Glenbow Museum. See attached for further information.
