- In 1970, Lethbridge’s newest drive in was at the Bank of Montreal at 13th Street North. There was also space inside the ultra-modern structure, designed by local architect Hans Bohnert, for six other tellers. Transactions were accomplished through the use of a sliding tray; communications by a speaker system. A special heater warmed the wicket in the winter. The only other Bank of Montreal drive-in in Calnda was in Vancouver.
