- This police car was stolen and subsequently damaged to the tune of $2,200 when it was involved in a collision on Scenic Drive. Norman Stanley Flamond, 25, pleaded guilty to theft of the car. The court was told a constable had left the car running about 2:30 p.m. while he investigated a disturbance at the Dallas Hotel. Flamond stole the car and was involved in the accident while being pursued by the police. He had a list of three previous convictins, for robbery, assault and fraudulently obtaining food.
