- City Alderman C. W. Chichester, right, buys a share in a Junior Achievement company named Power Enterprises from Clair Forestell. The JA program was et up in Lethbridge in mid-October when four sponsoring firms and advisers initiated the mini-companies to be run by high school students in the city. The share purchased sold for $1 and was limited to one per customer. The money generated by the sale of shares gave the JA companies the initial capital to start manufacture of products to be marketed.
