- Albertan - Canadian - Spanish.
- Charles Saxer was a friend of the donor's. He came to Canada as a child around 1912. He was employed first with the Canadian Pacific Railway, and then for 20 years with the City of Lethbridge. Mr. Saxer served with the MacKenzie - Papineau Battalion of the International Brigades during the Spanish Civil War. He died in 1980.
