- Photographs of a new stake centre built by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who waited two and a half years for the building to be constructed. The old centre, gutted by fire in January, 1968, was replaced by this one-story $672,000 building at Scenic Drive and 28th St. S. near the Lethbridge Junior College campus. The new structure was expected to be completed in December. It provided cultural facilities for the entire Lethbridge stake, complrising 5, 100 church members. It also included a main assembly and worship hall for two city wards totaling about 1,100 people.
