- Photographs of Bill Stronski of Turin, Alberta, his daughters Connie, left, and Debbie and three of the Stronski Ranch horses who went home with all the ribbons and trophies following the Appaloosa Horse Show, part of the annual light horse show held with Whoop-Up Days. The horses this year were being shown prior to the actual Whoop-Up Day week, July 20-25. The three horses, Lade Bartender, ridden by Connie; Joker’s Mirage, ridden by Debbie; and Zip’s Crop Top, riddent by Bill won 15 trophies and 25 ribbons. Each horse was a class grand champion. It was the 6th annual provincial Appaloosa show.
