- Lloyd Knight of the Knight & Day Photography Studio started his career with the Lethbridge Herald in 1938 as a messenger. In 1940 he became an engraver covering town events and southern Alberta celebrations. Knight left the Herald job in 1951 to establish his own studio which he ran for fifteen years. He was a charter member and correspondent for the Lethbridge Active International, a young men's service club and a member of the Lethbridge Flying Club of which he was their resident photographer
