- Essay was written June 29, 1915 by Anna Fortier, using the pen name Morning Dewdrop. Anna (later Mrs. Porier) was 17 at the time the eessay was written. She was the 4th youngest in a family of 7 sisters and four brothers. The Fortier Family had a farm approximately one mile outside of Cowley. They were staunch Roman Catholics and four of Anna's sisters became nuns. Anna Porier died in 1946 at the age of 48. She is survived by her daughter Mrs. Ted Balog, wife of the donor.
