- View of the Lions Pool on the north side. Young kids are enjoying the coolness of the water of a summer’s day while a mother is watching closely. Through the glass of the big pool one could see a white building with is the Palm Grocery, later Danny’s.

- History Biographical
- Lloyd Knight of the Knight & Day Photography Studio started his career with the Lethbridge Herald in 1938 as a messanger. In 1940 he became an engraver covering town events and southern Alberta celebrations. Knight left the Herald job in 1951 to establish his own studio which he ran for fifteen years. He was a charter member and correspondent for the Lethbridge Active International, a young men's service club and a member of the Lethbridge Flying Club of which he was their resident photographer
