- Portrait of John Craig who was born Augusts 11 1853 in Edinburgh and died in 1943. He worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway as a carpenter at Woodstock in 1878. On February 20th 1884 he married Margaret McWhirter. They came to Lethbridge in 1885 and bought a home at 8th Street and 3rd Avenue. They were members of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. Mr Craig served on the school board for many years and later became a chairman.
