- Portrait of Dr. Alan M Lafferty who was born June 6th 1861 in Ontario and died in 1947. In 1883 he worked as a surgeon for the Great Northern Railway. He came to Lethbridge in 1888 to set up a private practice. He was a part of the Alberta Hospital Association, Canadian Medical Society and retired in 1941. He married Janet Wheeler and had a son Alan and one daughter Mrs. T.Y Love.
