Scope and Content
Portrait of William Hardy who was born in July 4th 1855 and died April 1920. He arrived in Lethbridge in 1887 and lived at 1265 3rd Avenue South. He worked at the North West Transportation Company then the Alberta Railway and Irrigation Company continuing in that employ after the Canadian Pacific Railway took over the company. Health reasons cased him to retire and died at the age of 65. Both he and his wife Ida were staunch members of the Oldtimers' Association.
