- Portrait of Mrs. Thirza Jane Nolan (Little) who married to Thomas Patrick Nolan on September 13th 1884. She followed her husband to Lethbridge in 1891 from Kansas when he obtained work with the Alberta Railways and Irrigation Company. At this time she had three children Charles, Albert and Katherine All three passed away at an early age. Twins were born to the Nolans but the girl did not live. The son named Thomas Henry also resided in Lethbridge. The family moved to “The Nolan Ranch” in 1902 located along the Oldman River. Mrs Nolan became most well known for medical abilities to deliver babies and was on call all hours of the night and day. She was also a very good seamstress.
