- Portrait of Mal MacKenzie born in 1853 Great Britain and came to Canada as a young boy first living in Ontario. In 1870 he fought in the Riel Rebellion and later in 1885 the Northwest Rebellion. He eventually came to Lethbridge in 1890. However between the years 1890 and 1895 the family of four all died from sicknesses, Maclom being the last in 1897.
