Scope and Content: Photographs of cheque presentation for the proposed County of Lethbridge Sportsplex to be built in Coaldale. The establishment grant of $3,700 was paid to the community on a 50 cents per capita basis if it agreed to join in a co-operative recreational program. The first phase of the Sportsplex was a 25-metre swimming pool. Other phases included a curling rink and an area. Douglas Miller, MLA for Taber-Warner presented the funds to Charles Bryant, chairman of the board of directors.
