Photographs of retiring County of Lethbridge teachers who were presented with plaques in rcognition of the years of meritorious service by the Alberta Teachers’ Association’s provincial president Ivan P. Stonehocker following a banquet in honor of the teachers. In back, left to right, are Mr. Stonehocker, Donald R. Baldwin of Coaldale who began teaching in 1923 and was a teaching for 30 years; Reg Burnard of Colhurst, who began teaching in 1925 and spent 24 years teaching in the county; Evan Evans, president of the county ATA local. Front row: Mrs. Gladys Jones of Shaughnessay who began teaching in 1925 and taught for 19 years in the county; and Mrs. Jean Court of Picture Butte, who began teaching in 1921 and spent 23 years in the county.
