- Photographs of William Birrell, left, long time member of the Gen. J. S. Stewart Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, Lethbridge, who was presented at the general meeting with a certificate of Merit for long service. Presentation on behalf of the legion was by Peter Grisak, second vice-president of the branch. Gen. J. s. Stewart, right, in recognition of his 93 birthday, was presented with an autographed giant birthday card signed by many of the branch’s 1,200 members. Presentation on behalf o the Legion was made by Jim Rae, first vice-president of the branch in the absence of President William Kergan.
