- Photographs of girls heading to Ottawa for the annual Rotary-sponsored Adventure in Citizenship tour. The girls, all grade 12 students, were picked from each of the Rotary districts, Lethbridge, East Lethbridge, Coaldale and Cardston, on the basis of scholastic abilities. Each of the girls was to receive a certificate of citizenship from A. J. MacEachen, federal minister of manpower and immigration and had a tour of the House of Commons and the Ottawa area.The girls shown are Kathy Erdman, left, Marlene Cookshaw, Linda Allred and Donna Murray.
