- Photographs of some of 45 painting by Don Frache and A. C. Leighton on display at the Gainsborough Art Studio. Mr. Leighton died in 1966 having had considerable fame in his native England before commissions for the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1925 that led him to settle in Canada. Mr. Frache, former cartoonish, magazine illustrator and teaching for the Lethbridge Sketch Club, is well known in Southern Alberta for his depictions of farm lands and mountain area.
