- Photographs of a group of 42 men from Japan who arrived in Lethbridge to work on potato farms in the area. It was the second group of Japanese immigrants to come to Alberta in the past year. Arrangements for the workers were made through the combined efforts of the Canada manpower service and the Japanese emigration service. After a two year period, the workers had the option of becoming permanent residents in Canada.
