Cavanah store in the background. Photograph of the Dominion Block on fire January 23, 1925. The Dominion Block contained several businesses that were affected by the fire, including Simpson's, The Roy Electric Company, the Southern Alberta Farmers' Supply Company and the Elks Lodge. The building also contained housing and some families were rendered homeless.
