- Photographs of the demise of the Lethbridge militia known as the 18th Field Artillery Regiment which paraded for the last time before turning over the colors to the new 20th Independent Battery. The 18th was disbanded due to troop strength reductions throughout the Canadian military forces. Mayor Andy Anderson, centre, inspects troops before the change over ceremony which completed the resignation of the regiment. Anderson is accompanied by Major Mel Hamilton, left, who was the new commander of the 20th and Lt. Col. Ron Jacobson, left centre, commanding officer of the 18th.
