- Canadian. Wintour Adams and a friend (George) immigrated from England in the early 1900's and worked in our region with the Canadian Pacifac Railway (CPR). These postcards were sent during this time and later when he and George enlisted in the Canadian Army and went overseas to war. He and George sent the postcards to members of the Adams Family. Wintour Adams was killed in the Battle at Hill 60 Ypres.
